A look at Bay of Plenty fibreglass pool projects we’ve completed — and what the families who swim in them have to say.
Darren and the team did an awesome job from start to finish and were great to work with. They made the process simple and easy.
Darren and his amazing team put our pool in a couple of years ago now. From start to finish the workmanship and communication were amazing. Every last step was explained in detail and nothing was ever a problem. They did all the fencing, compliance, a heat pump, automatic pool chlorination, cover, dolphin robot cleaner and stunning coping stones. It’s run faultlessly and was the best investment we’ve made, not to mention the value it’s added to our house. We were always told a pool was hard work, cleaning, chemicals etc, but nothing could be further from the truth. I highly recommend Leisure Pools BOP, the only ones to get your pool done with this winter, ready for a summer swimming season.
Thanks to Darren Gabb and his team at Leisure Pools for our amazing pool. We chose the Elegance 7m pool in Sapphire blue. The communication and dedication to making sure every detail was right was second to none. Darren and Josh were awesome, nothing was ever a problem. We are thrilled with our Leisure Pool and have had so many happy family times this summer. We couldn’t be happier. We thoroughly recommend Darren at Leisure Pools. Thanks, Dave and Alison Attwood
When we rang Darren from Leisure Pools BOP he was prompt and with us within 3 days, discussing our pool requirements. At our first meeting in person with Darren we were impressed. He listened to us and then explained the whole process. He was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. We were very impressed when Darren mentioned having a look at a recent project they had done which was close by. We did and found these people were also very impressed with their service. This made our decision very easy. We were kept informed along the way, to when the pool would arrive and our job would begin. Josh, his head pool installer, was incredible too, he could work that digger and between the two of them the pool levels were precise. The whole job was completed very efficiently. We are very proud of our Leisure pool and would recommend them to anyone. Their service and efficiency was awesome. Dave and Alison Attwood, Papamoa Beach
We “Spontaneously” decided to get a pool. We shopped around and had 4 quotes. Leisure Pools may have not been the cheapest but quality was of the utmost importance. The smartest looking fibreglass pools you can get in my opinion. The team from Leisure Pools were guiding us through the entire process. Never let down. Even after paying the deposit and signed the contract we were never ignored. My family and I are extremely happy with the result. Darren and his team helped with the design, concrete, glass, pavers, equipment and consent. It really was an all-round package. I find this to be so helpful not to talk to various people within one project. Once the job was done no question asked was too many. No interest lost in the completed job. So Important!!! Big thank you from Michael, Mia and the kids. Life is better with a Leisure pool and the kids are entertained for hours… Thank you Michael Wenzel, Oropi
We recently purchased and installed a pool from Leisure Pools, and the experience was excellent from beginning to end. Communication was clear, professional, and consistent, with easy-to-follow instructions that made the whole process stress-free. The quality of the pool is outstanding—it looks incredible and has quickly become the centrepiece of our outdoor space. Even before the heat pump was installed, the kids were in it constantly. Since heating it, we’ve used it every single evening, despite heading into winter. That’s how much we love it. This has been a fantastic investment—not just in our property, but in our family. It’s already given us countless memories, and we know it will continue to do so for years to come. I highly recommend Leisure Pools to anyone considering adding a pool to their home. Logan Dawson
Darren and his team are the only guys to put in your pool. This is the second pool with them and we couldn’t be happier. Superb service and workmanship Mike Siermans – Tauranga Central
We are delighted with our new pool from Leisure Pools Bay of Plenty. Darren and his team have been a pleasure to work with and have done a fantastic job with the installation. All very skillful and professional. Darren’s assistance with the selection of pool equipment and materials was most helpful as was his excellent communication throughout, and his later follow ups and advice. The whole process has been seamless and we highly recommend Darren and his team. Thank you! Russell & Ginny - Ohauiti, Tauranga.
